Home Alone & Safe (Ages 7 - 10)

Will your child be home alone for short periods of time this school year?  If so, this class is a MUST. The instructor will focus on safety issues dealing with answering the telephone and door, stranger safety, where to keep keys and emergency information, basic first aid including choking, bleeding, burns and CPR. Students will receive a participation certificate and instructional book. 

Students attend this class independently.  Parents are encouraged to review the take home information and discuss it with their child.

COVID Safety Precautions:

Face masks are required.

Participants must use hand sanitizer or wash hands prior to entering the classroom.

Only the participant is allowed into the school building. Parents (with a face mask on) can bring their child to the room, but will need to leave the building after dropping the child off for class.

Participants will social distance during class a minimum of 6 feet.

If you or your child is sick and experiencing any COVID symptoms, please do not attend class.

Toni has been teaching Community Education classes for years and is a certified American Heart Association CPR instructor.
