  • Exploring Isanti County Parks with Little Wilderness Camp!

Join Little Wilderness as we explore a handful of the county parks that Isanti County has to offer. Each park is unique in their own way! We will meet at a new park everyday and focus on a new theme inspired by the outdoors. During your child's exploration you can expect that they will get: an exciting educational lesson, a hands-on group activity, making an outdoor inspired snack and learning about each park. Feel free to stay after the event to utilize the trails and explore these Isanti County Parks as a family! About Little Wilderness: At Little Wilderness, we strive to create a safe, comfortable and educational experience for children and youth to get outdoors. From hunting and fishing, camping and hiking, conservation and education, we provide a community where children of all ages have the opportunity to attend events and learn a variety of outdoor-related skills. Through these outdoor experiences we inspire children to have a lifelong passion for harvesting their own food, being in nature, and conserving the world around them. It's one of the most beneficial hobbies to instill in a child because it develops courage, determination, and resilience unlike other activities children are regularly engaged in.
