    The Adventure Center program provides before and after school programming on school days for students in preschool (3-5 years) through fifth grade. Non school day programming is available for students in grades K-5. Preschool aged students are eligible to attend the summer school age program prior to attending Kindergarten if they are registered in Kindergarten. Students will be mostly grouped with like age students. Children must be mostly toilet trained and independent in the bathroom.   • BMX Pedal Bike Racing (Ages 4 & up)

    Rum River BMX is the #1 indoor facility in the country. Unlike traditional sports, in BMX, no one sits on the bench! BMX riding is a great way for kids and adults to stay active, build confidence, develop important life skills, connect with others, and have fun. This session will cover BMX fundamentals including “What is BMX racing?” racing bike types, BMX terminology, and BMX safety. Also, the most important lesson, how to RIDE LIKE THE WIND! Students will receive hands-on riding instructions and will practice their new skills on the BMX track. This course is designed for new riders (novice) who are interested in the sport. If you can pedal your bike without training wheels, you can take part in this class. No special bikes are required, if it has wheels, a few adjustments and we will make it work for this class (your bike will need to have the reflectors, kickstand, chain guard, and pegs removed). If you do not have a bike, we have a fleet of HARO race bikes available at the track for use on a first come first serve basis. A full-face helmet is recommended, as helmets are required. You must wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and close-toed shoes. *Children as young as 4 are welcome as long as they can pedal.     This basketball option is the perfect choice as the games and activities can be adjusted to accommodate most ages and skill levels. Our party facilitator will give various game options from "Horse" to "Lightning" to regular basketball games, relay races and dribbling competitions. Don't delay, book you basketball party through Community Education for a fun filled party! ***Please book using the birthday child's name. Parties must be booked a minimum of 10 business days in advance. Cambridge-Isanti Community Education will contact you within 2 business days of submitting your party request. All parties are subject to staffing and facility availability. Prices vary by the party choice and length of time. Payment is due in full upon booking the party. If a cancellation needs to happen, Community Education must be notified 3 business days prior to the party to receive a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee.
