  • Gymnastics: Intermediates (Grades 1-8)

    Gymnasts must know all of the Advanced Beginner Skills. Will learn back walkover, front limbers, back handsprings, glides on bars, cartwheels and handstands on high beams, and handspring vaults. If your child is school age and has no previous experience, please register him/her for BEGINNERS.   • Gymnastics: Beginners (Grades K - 7)

    For students who have no previous experience or are not proficient in front roll, back roll, straight-arm bridge, handstand, or cartwheel. Gymnasts will also work on the beam, bars and vault. Must be able to do all Beginner Floor Skills. Learn handstand roll-downs, one armed cartwheels, back bend kick-overs, pull-over on bars, cartwheels and handstands on low beam.     A great introduction to the sport of Gymnastics. Students do not need to have had any previous experience and for those who have not yet been in Kindergarten. Student must be turning 4 during the session in order to be eligible for this class. Please register at least one week prior to the class start date. Classes are filled on a first-come, first served basis. Registrations are not accepted at the gym. Please note students need to be fully potty trained.     Our very popular Little Tumblers Open Gym is back! Balance on the beam, swing on the bars, and tumble around in the Cambridge-Isanti High School gymnastics gym under the supervision of Gymnastic coaching staff. Enter the main door of Cambridge-Isanti High School and check in with a valid id. For children ages 1(walking)-5.

    Synchronized Swimming (All ages, youth-adult)

    Synchronized swimming combines the grace of dancing and the flexibility of gymnastics with the water skills of a swimmer. Learn sculling, novice figure positions, and teamwork in the form of duets, trios and small teams. Develop flexibility and muscle strength while memorizing a routine set to music. Dazzle your family and friends with our end of class performance! Participants must be able to swim 300 yards and tread water for 3 minutes.
