  • 2026 Isanti County Safety Camp (Grades 3-5)

    Get ready for the 20th year of Safety Camp!!! The Isanti County Safety Camp is open to all Isanti county children who will be going into 3-5th grade. This camp is a 2 day event that focuses on safety. Each camper registration includes a camp t-shirt, water, snacks and lunches for both days. Please make sure to let us know of any food allergies (gluten free, dairy free, etc.) at the time of registration. Children will need to bring their swimsuits and towels on the second day. Day 2 will conclude with a camp graduation followed by an ice cream social. Families are encouraged to attend both the graduation and ice cream social. Please note: There is an additional questionnaire attached to this registration and it must be completed to finalize enrollment. Register by May 1st to ensure your preferred t-shirt size is available. Final registration is June 1st due to staffing pieces. Late registration will be accepted only if there is enough staff able to be at the sessions. Please contact the office with any questions (763-689-6189).

    Online Virtual Class: Create Nintendo-inspired characters using TinkerCAD while learning 3D design skills. They'll also do fun Nintendo-inspired challenges and create themed video games while waiting for the prints to finish. One to two student-designed projects will be printed and sent home.     The fun and easy way to host an awesome birthday party! You bring the treats and we'll provide the pool. Parties include 2 hours of swim time and 1 hour in a space for presents and food (food must be consumed after the pool time). Each party can accommodate up to 40 swimmers. Extra charges will apply for more than 40 swimmers. Include is time for food and presents. Please book using the birthday child's name.     CMS Ski & Snowboard -One Time Program

    Join your friends and classmates as you ski or snowboard down the slopes of Wild Mountain. Both Cambridge-Isanti High school and Middle school students are invited to join in on the FUN. There are various options to choose from, including transportation for those of you with a Wild Mountain Season Pass. The fees include club membership, transportation, lift ticket (if needed), supervision and a pizza party (depends on option). Any rentals of equipment must be completed online through a Wild Mountain link. Once registration is closed an email will go out with this information along with the mandatory Wild Mountain Waiver that needs to be completed prior to the first night. Students can always bring their own equipment and avoid the extra charge. This email will also contain the Ski & Snowboard Club packet. The packet contains a multitude of information regarding the club. If you would like this packet sooner they will be available at the Community Education main office (625 Main Street N., Cambridge), via email (please email mlupinek@c-ischools.org) or online to print. *Please note that space is limited and buses fill up quickly! Please sign up on the waiting list if class is full. If there is enough interest a second bus will be added and you will be contacted at that time. All participants must have a waiver completed upon registration. This is a Community Education waiver and it is very important that both the student and parent/guardian read it over and agree to the terms. For the one time program. Registrations need to be in at least 3 business days ahead of the desired date. Please make sure to sign up for the Remind app!!! The Remind app is a quick way to receive any information on cancellations or changes. All season pass holders must show proof of a season pass by giving Community Ed a copy upon registering.   • Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Program (11+ yrs)

    The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute provides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The YouTube "vlogger" style presentation of the video brings a youthful and high-energy spirit to the program content, and the colorful magazine format of the student book makes learning fun. From getting started with your business, to working with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete the achievement of the core learning objectives to receive certification valid for two years. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. This class is for students aged 11 years and up. A lower rate is available for Cambridge-Isanti students whose families have qualified for the 24-25 Federal free/reduced lunch program.     We offer classroom courses designed for teens learning to drive and behind-the-wheel driving instruction that is required to become a licensed driver in the state of MN through a curriculum designed by professional educators and taught by licensed teachers. The State of Minnesota requires potential drivers under the age of 18 to complete and pass a minimum of 30 hours of classroom instruction. The last day of class is a makeup day. Only one day of class is allowed to be made up. If you miss more than one day you will need to enroll and pay for another session. Students are required to be registered for Behind-the-Wheel (6 hours) instruction before they are eligible to take their permit test. For information on the steps to become a licensed driver, go to c-ischools.org. Click on Community, then Community Education. Due to signature requirements, phone registrations are not available.     We offer classroom and behind-the-wheel driving instruction that is required to become a licensed driver in the state of MN through a curriculum designed by professional educators and taught by licensed teachers. The State of Minnesota requires potential drivers under the age of 18 to complete and pass a minimum of 30 hours of classroom instruction. This course is VIRTUAL and students will be able to take a fully online class that will allow them to work at their own pace through the 30 hour classroom portion. This option is a video based class and will cover all of the material needed to prepare students to become ready for the written exam needed to get their permit. There is an additional $20 technology fee that you will need to pay at the time you start the modules. This went into effect on January 1st, 2026. Please Note: Starting January 1st, 2026 there is a separate $20 fee that gets paid directly to A+ Driving School when you go to log in for the first time. The system will not let you bypass this and this must be completed before you can begin any of the modules. Students will be required to have a school issued or personal laptop or Chromebook, a stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone available for all classes.
