  • BMX Pedal Bike Racing (Ages 4 & up)

    Rum River BMX was named the #1 track in the United States for BMK racing. At BMX, everyone gets to participate. It’s a great way for riders of all ages to stay active, build confidence, develop life skills, connect with others, and most importantly, have fun! During your time at the track you’ll learn the fundamentals, including but not limited to; Answers to the question “What is BMX racing?”, types of race bikes, BMX terminology and safety. The best part? You get to hit the track! Students will receive hands-on riding instructions and will practice their new skills on the BMX track. This course is designed for new riders (novices) interested in the sport. If you can pedal a bike without training wheels, you can participate! No special bikes required. No worries about bringing a bike with you, we have a fleet of HARO race bikes available in a number of sizes. Bikes and full face helmets are available on a first come first serve basis. A full-face helmet is recommended, as helmets are required. You must wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and close-toed shoes. *Children as young as 4 are welcome as long as they can pedal.     This basketball option is the perfect choice as the games and activities can be adjusted to accommodate most ages and skill levels. Our party facilitator will give various game options from "Horse" to "Lightning" to regular basketball games, relay races and dribbling competitions. Parties must be booked a minimum of 10 business days in advance. Cambridge-Isanti Community Education will contact you within 2 business days of submitting your party request.     The fun and easy way to host an awesome birthday party! You bring the treats and we'll provide the pool. Parties include 2 hours of swim time and 1 hour in room for presents and food. Each party can accommodate up to 40 swimmer. Extra charges will apply for more than 40 swimmers. Include is time for food and presents. Please book using the birthday child's name.     Knowledge Bowl is an interactive academic competition. Students work in teams and compete to answer the most questions correctly in each round! This is a highly competitive academic competition which relies on teamwork and cooperation. Parent's Night is November 26th and is parents verses kids!
  • C-I Archery League 101 (Grades 4 - 12)

    Interested in joining the Cambridge-Isanti Archery Team? Not sure if it's for you? Come learn the fundamental skills needed to join the team before the season starts in January! We will focus on learning eye dominance, range rules, safety rules and the eleven steps to archery success. This program uses Genesis equipment which is provided. A mandatory parent meeting will take place on the first night of the league. Please make arrangements to stay for this session with your child.

    "In-School" Archery Calling all homeschool or online school students that would like to participate on the competitive Cambridge-Isanti Archery Team which begins in January 2025! In order to participate in competitions, students must receive 10-hours of "in-school" archery instruction per the National Archery in School Program. This class will meet that requirement allowing homeschool and online students who live in Isanti County to participate in the competitions. Only Genisis Original bows are used and no equipment necessary.

There are various options to choose from, including transportation for those of you with a Wild Mountain Season Pass. The fees include club membership, transportation, lift ticket (if needed), supervision and a pizza party (depends on option). Any rentals of equipment must be completed online through a Wild Mountain link. Once registration is closed an email will go out with this information along with the mandatory Wild Mountain Waiver that needs to be completed prior to the first night. Students can always bring their own equipment and avoid the extra charge. This email will also contain the Ski & Snowboard Club packet. The packet contains a multitude of information regarding the club.   • Cambridge Middle School December Venture Play "The Monsters Under the Bed"

    Cambridge Middle School students will rehearse and perform a short play. This one week camp will focus more directly on building up theatre foundational skills, such as voice projections and volume, annunciation, character development, expressions and staging all while working to bring a short play to life titled, "The Monsters Under the Bed"! This week will focus on the things that we don't get to spend as much time on when we are focused on getting a big production like the May Play ready for an audience. Growing and building theatre fundamentals and skills will be at the forefront of the December Venture! Wednesday, November 27th will be auditions for the parts in the play. The auditions will consist of some games and readings, both individually and in groups, so be willing to explore new and fun characters. Participants do not need to have anything prepared, just be ready to have fun! There will be roles for those who would like non speaking parts too! There will be a performance on Friday, December 20th More details will be handed out the first week of rehearsals.

Join Musician Pierre and learn how to strum chords, pick melodies and play an easy classic country song on the acoustic guitar. Student sized acoustic guitar provided or you’re welcome to bring your own. For youth ages 9-11 a parent needs to attend with their child to help with instrument placement if needed.     What do Dala horses, fiddle music & dancing have in common? They are all a special part of the Swedish culture! Join sibling musicians, Pierre & Karlynna and learn fun traditional Swedish folk dances and then dance to lively fiddle music! The fiddle is also known as the violin. Learn more about this great instrument and try playing one! Participants will also get to make and take home a Dala horse art project. Instruments and art materials will be provided.
