Join Ashley Messer with Creative Studio 23 for a 3 day Summer Art Camp! Class sessions will be held from 11am-2PM each day. Day 1 we will focus on drawing and dry art materials with colored pencils, markers, oil pastels and chalk pastels. Day 2 we will focus on mixed media and collage art with dry art materials and watercolor paint. Day 3 we will focus mainly on acrylic painting techniques on paper and on canvas. Students will learn about color theory, experiment with a variety of fun art materials and have a chance to get 1 on 1 learning with a professional artist.
Ashley has been passionate about art her entire life and has always found teaching to be an incredibly rewarding experience. She started teaching art in High School (2007) through Community Education and gradually got into teaching with a company. Ashley graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Graphic Design and has been working as a part time designer ever since. She loves working with Non-Profits and Small Businesses.
