My Little Horse Camp (Ages 2 - 5 & Adult)

This parent/child camp features horse safety, learning and fun! Experience feeding, caring for and grooming horses. The parent/guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of our different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn about how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. A signed Boulder Point waiver is required the day of camp. Click Here For Directions To Camp A lower rate is available for Cambridge-Isanti students whose families have qualified for the 24-25 Federal free/reduced lunch program. To receive this rate, each year a copy of your award letter must be submitted to ceregister@c-ischools.org. Camp Invention: DISCOVER™ Summer Camp NEW
Youth Enrichment

Camp Invention has brought authentic invention education to children and educators across the country for more than 30 years. Real-world challenges lead children through unique STEM experiences that foster critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. During this action-packed, confidence-boosting program, week-long camp, young innovators will discover four all new adventures in hands on invention education. DISCOVER, this year’s brand-new program, provides you and your students with: Campers will use physics and engineering to make a DIY claw machine in Claw Arcade and explore entrepreneurship principles as they hook investors on their arcade experiences. In Illusion Workshop, they are introduced to optical illusions and create their own spinning animation device while they become special effects experts. During In Control, campers will be put in the driver’s seat by discovering how Artificial Intelligence is imbedded in everyday road trip items like GPS and they rise to the challenge to create their own Control Panel to send secret morse code messages. Campers embark on an eco-expedition in Penguin Launch with Snow-ver, a robotic research penguin to investigate penguin habitats while creating flippers and launchers to propel their own plush magnetic penguins across the South Pole. Home Alone & Safe (Ages 7 - 10)

Going to be home alone for short periods of time? If so, this class is a must. The instructor will focus on safety issues dealing with answering the telephone and door, stranger safety, where to keep keys and emergency information, basic first aid including choking, bleeding, burns and CPR. You will receive a participation certificate and instructional book. Students attend this class independently. Parents are encouraged to review the take home information and discuss it with their child. Do you qualify for Free or Reduced lunch? Middle School Hangout!!!

Join this camp to hangout with friends, have access to open gym, and participate in unique daily activities such as board games, field games, crafts and baking! Each 3 day week will include an onsite field trip or off-site excursion. The field trip days could be longer than the typical day. Please make sure to watch the times for those days. The Twins game this year will be on June 26th with the game starting at 12:10 PM verses the Mariners. Register for 1 or all 4 weeks (first 2 weeks are at CMS and the 3rd & 4th weeks will be held at IMS). Must bring water bottle daily and a bag lunch on longer field trip days. All supplies, and field trip costs are included. No refunds for week 2 after June 4th due to the deadline for purchasing tickets. There is an option for just attending the Twin's game field trip too. *Discount for registering for all 4 weeks at once! Register soon - Spaces are very limited.
