Learn what it takes to to be a safe and successful babysitter! Get tips to start your business and relate with parents and children; as well as training in safety, care-giving, and first aid. Upon successful completion of this course, students receive certification which is recognized for up to two years. Instructor provides baby dolls, bottles, diaper supplies for skills participation. The course is developed by the American Safety and Health Institute and approved by the American Pediatrics Association. Students attend this class independently. Parents are encouraged to review the take home information and discuss it with their child. Please bring a snack to class.

Join other youth and learn the sport of BMX bike racing. You will learn BMX fundamentals including what BMX racing is, racing bike types, BMX terminology, course set-up & safety and hands-on riding instruction from some of the top BMX riders in the United States. Please wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt and tennis shoes. Bikes and helmets are required, so bring whatever you have. There are a limited number of loaner bikes and helmets available at the track on a first come, first serve basis. A signed waiver is required for each participant, which is available upon check-in at the track. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch their child during class. Special Bonus! Riders are invited to test their new skills at a USABMX practice at the track on a scheduled day for FREE! Contact the track to sign-up for this free practice. Registration starts at 5:30PM.

Students are instructed in non-aggressive, self-defense techniques and safety awareness. Personal esteem, respect for others, self-discipline and physical fitness are promoted. At the conclusion of class, students will be eligible to earn a certified belt. Returning students can earn a higher rank belt. Every child will receive a number of participation awards. On the first night of class, the instructor will explain the Young Americans expectations. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Students should wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing such as sweat pants or shorts and a T-shirt. Uniforms are optional and can be purchased from the instructor. Intermediate Level Returning students who have attained a yellow belt (with or without a green stripe) should register for this class. .
