In this class students will learn the basics and begin to play the hit role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons with others that are also interested in the game. Students get to create a character using their imagination and then play in a fantasy world where they become the hero.
My name is Haley Lukes and I am the REACH teacher at IMS! Throughout college I became interested in Dungeons and Dragons and I have been playing for about a year now. My work with SEL has been a huge benefit in figuring out how to run D&D effectively and understandably for middle school students.
