Cambridge Middle School students will rehearse and perform a short play. This one week camp will focus more directly on building up theatre foundational skills, such as voice projections and volume, annunciation, character development, expressions and staging all while working to bring a short play to life titled, "The Monsters Under the Bed"! This week will focus on the things that we don't get to spend as much time on when we are focused on getting a big production like the May Play ready for an audience. Growing and building theatre fundamentals and skills will be at the forefront of the December Venture!
Wednesday, November 27th will be auditions for the parts in the play. The auditions will consist of some games and readings, both individually and in groups, so be willing to explore new and fun characters. Participants do not need to have anything prepared, just be ready to have fun! There will be roles for those who would like non speaking parts too!
There will be a performance on Friday, December 20th More details will be handed out the first week of rehearsals.
