This NEW & EXCITING program is open to all teenagers, but is specifically geared towards teens with disabilities. TACI provides a once a month positive socialization opportunity for teens ages 12-17 in a supervised environment.

We offer classroom and behind-the-wheel driving instruction that is required to become a licensed driver in the state of MN through a curriculum designed by professional educators and taught by licensed teachers. The State of Minnesota requires potential drivers under the age of 18 to complete and pass a minimum of 30 hours of classroom instruction.
This course is VIRTUAL and students will be able to take a fully online class that will allow them to work at their own pace through the 30 hour classroom portion. This option is a video based class and will cover all of the material needed to prepare students to become ready for the written exam needed to get their permit.
Students will be required to have a school issued or personal laptop or Chromebook, a stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone available for all classes.
Students are required to be registered for Behind-the-Wheel (6 hours)instruction before they are eligible to take their permit test. For information on the steps to become a licensed driver, go to c-ischools.org. Click on Community, then Community Education. Due to signature requirements, phone registrations are not available.
