Adventure Center provides before and after school programming on school days for students in preschool through fifth grade. Non school day and summer programming is available for students in grades K-5.

Early Childhood Screening is required by state law before a child enters kindergarten, however a parent or guardian may choose to conscientiously object by submitting a statement to the Early Childhood office.

This NEW & EXCITING program is open to all teenagers, but is specifically geared towards teens with disabilities. TACI provides a once a month positive socialization opportunity for teens ages 12-17 in a supervised environment.

Students should bring a towel and come dressed to swim. Children ages 7 & up may participate in these lessons. Locker rooms will be available on a limited basis.
Each level of swimming lessons includes training in basic water safety in a fun and engaging atmosphere to reducing the stress of the water, in addition to skills outlined here:
Level 1 (ages 5 & up): Introduction to Water SkillsThis class is designed to help first-time swimmers become comfortable in the water. Students will learn skills in safe water entry/exit, flutter kick, breath control, introductory back kicking and some freestyle swimming.
Level 2 (ages 6 & up): Fundamental Aquatic Skills
Students will engage in learning to propelling themselves in the water through refined progressions and drills mastered in previous levels.
Level 3 (ages 7 & up): Stroke DevelopmentSkills covered include coordinated and controlled breast stroke. Introduction to the complex Butterfly stroke while timing breath, kick and head position for recovery.
Level 4 (ages 8 & up): Lifesaving Stroke DevelopmentStudents will develop critical techniques, components and progressions learning the sidestroke, elementary backstroke and treading water. All important skills for your child to learn if they every want to become a certified lifeguard!
Level 5 (ages 9 & up): Stroke RefinementStudents will improve on previously learned strokes and will be introduced to open turns, springboard diving and distance swimming.
Level 6 (ages 9 & up): Swimming & Skill Proficiency
Stroke refinement is learned so students swim with ease, efficiency, power and smoothness over greater distances, preparing students for competitive swim.
Each Lesson is 30 minutes in length.
It is very important to sign your child up for the correct level of swim they are at. A swim level assessment may be done on the first session of lessons. Staff reserve the right to move a student from one skill level to another and if no correct level is available to move to, children may be removed from the course.

A lower rate is available for Cambridge-Isanti students whose families have qualified for the 25-26 Federal free/reduced lunch program.
