Welcome to Swim Team Prep and Conditioning!
On a swim team and wanting to keep your skills sharp and stay in shape? This is the program for you!
This program is designed to:
Perfect for swimmers who love the water, have been on the swim team and simply looking to stay in the water during the off season
Come build your skills, stay active, and make a splash with us!
Course Requirements:
To ensure all participants have a safe and successful experience, swimmers must meet the following prerequisites before enrolling:
This class is designed as a conditioning and skill development program geared towards getting swimmers ready for the upcoming season and maintaining their skills after the season is over. Advanced sessions are designed for highly skilled and varsity-level swimmers, with an emphasis on advanced techniques, drills, cardio conditioning, nutrition, and strength training. Because there is one coach leading the group and limited opportunity for one-on-one instruction, swimmers should already have a strong foundation in competitive swimming skills. Meeting these prerequisites allows the coach to focus on improving endurance, technique, and overall performance while providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
If you are unsure whether your swimmer is ready for this course, please contact azangl@c-ischools.org to discuss their current skill level or schedule a swim assessment.
This session is focused on advanced swimmers already on the swim team. We will work with stroke development, drills, and fine tune your starts and turns.
