Learn easy fingering exercises, picking & strumming patterns and a short tune. 3/4 size guitar will be provided and/or bring your own. What does Classic, Country, Bluegrass & Americana music have in common? No experience necessary! For youth ages 9-11 a parent needs to attend with their child to help with instrument placement if needed. Enrollment is limited to one family per camp. NewViolin/Fiddle Camp for Beginners (Ages 6-15)Youth EnrichmentWhat does Classic, Country, Bluegrass & Americana music have in common? Hot violin/fiddle music solos! Join Musician Pierre for toe tapping violin/fiddle tunes, to learn more about this amazing instrument and try playing one! You'll learn basic fingering and bowing techniques and a couple of easy tunes. No experience necessary! For youth ages 6-11 a parent needs to attend with their child to help with instrument placement if needed. Enrollment is limited to one family per camp. NewPrivate/Semi-Private Swim Lessons for Youth & AdultsYouth SwimmingPrivate Swim Lessons Our private swim lessons offer one-on-one instruction with a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Ideal for those who desire individual instruction, those who need to "catch up" on swimming skills, or adult learner. Semi-Private Swim Lessons Learn to swim with a friend or sibling. Students should be at a similar swimming skill level. Please registered under one child's name. There will be questions in the registration about the other child. Registration includes six lessons, each 30 minutes in length. Children ages 4 & up will attend lessons independently (without a parent). Children under the age of 4 may need a parent in the water during the lesson, depending on the child's comfort level with he instructor. Enter the building through door #1 (the main high school entrance). COVID Safety Precautions: If you or your child is sick and experiencing any COVID symptoms, please do not attend class. PopularChild and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Program (11+ yrs)Youth EnrichmentThe Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute provides everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The YouTube "vlogger" style presentation of the video brings a youthful and high-energy spirit to the program content, and the colorful magazine format of the student book makes learning fun. From getting started with your business, to working with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, CABS will help set you up for babysitting success. Students must be present for the entire class and complete the achievement of the core learning objectives to receive certification valid for two years. Students attend this class independently and should come prepared with a notebook and pen. This class is for students aged 11 years and up. A lower rate is available for Cambridge-Isanti students whose families have qualified for the 21-22 Federal free/reduced lunch program. To receive this rate, each year a copy of your award letter must be submitted to ceregister@c-ischools.org. Questions about the free/reduced lunch program? Call 763-689-6237.
