  • BMX Pedal Bike Racing (Ages 4 & up)

Rum River BMX was named the #1 track in the United States for BMK racing. At BMX, everyone gets to participate. It’s a great way for riders of all ages to stay active, build confidence, develop life skills, connect with others, and most importantly, have fun! During your time at the track you’ll learn the fundamentals, including but not limited to; Answers to the question “What is BMX racing?”, types of race bikes, BMX terminology and safety. The best part? You get to hit the track! Students will receive hands-on riding instructions and will practice their new skills on the BMX track. This course is designed for new riders (novices) interested in the sport. If you can pedal a bike without training wheels, you can participate! No special bikes required. No worries about bringing a bike with you, we have a fleet of HARO race bikes available in a number of sizes. Bikes and full face helmets are available on a first come first serve basis. A full-face helmet is recommended, as helmets are required. You must wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and close-toed shoes. *Children as young as 4 are welcome as long as they can pedal.
