  • CMS Thanksgiving Meal Prep On-Site "Field Trip"

    CMS students will learn life skills while they prep, cook, and serve staff a meal consisting of turkey, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans and rolls. Limited number of students and will fill up fast. Students are responsible for making up missed class work and would attend class after serving and once clean up is completed.

Join us for this fun refresher on the basic skills with a special focus on proper form and aiming techniques.Only returning members of the team may sign-up for this class.
  • Competitive Archery Introduction (Grades 4 - 12)

    Interested in joining the Cambridge-Isanti Archery Team and want to get a leg up before the season starts in January of 2026?Or if you want to try it prior to committing to the full season- this class is for you! This class is open to beginner archers and experience archers who have not previously shot on the Cambridge-Isanti Archery Team. We will focus on gaining the skills to shoot competitively including our safety protocols, the 11-steps to archery success, and scoring. Only Genisis Original bows are used. No equipment necessary.

    Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game that takes you on epic journeys through fantasy worlds. You become your own character, uncovering secrets and finding treasures as you fight your way through fantasy worlds. Pick the days you can play as each day will have its own unique adventure.

    This course introduces students to Minecraft circuit-building and engineering concepts using Redstone. We will build 2-3 electrical contraptions in this course.   • Exploring Isanti County Parks with Little Wilderness Camp!

    Join Little Wilderness as we explore a handful of the county parks that Isanti County has to offer. Each park is unique in their own way! We will meet at a new park everyday and focus on a new theme inspired by the outdoors. During your child's exploration you can expect that they will get: an exciting educational lesson, a hands-on group activity, making an outdoor inspired snack and learning about each park. Feel free to stay after the event to utilize the trails and explore these Isanti County Parks as a family! About Little Wilderness: At Little Wilderness, we strive to create a safe, comfortable and educational experience for children and youth to get outdoors. From hunting and fishing, camping and hiking, conservation and education, we provide a community where children of all ages have the opportunity to attend events and learn a variety of outdoor-related skills. Through these outdoor experiences we inspire children to have a lifelong passion for harvesting their own food, being in nature, and conserving the world around them. It's one of the most beneficial hobbies to instill in a child because it develops courage, determination, and resilience unlike other activities children are regularly engaged in.     Horse Day Camp: One Day Option (Ages 6 - 17)

    Kids will learn what it is like to have a horse for a day!!! Learn how to groom, tack-up, lead and ride. Plus have fun creating horse crafts, learning how to give a horse a bath, feeding, watering and other horse care. Campers are broken down into smaller groups based on similar riding experience, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! Camps run rain or shine! Please wear shoes with a closed toe and a heel, long pants and dress for the weather. Bring lunch and a nut-free snack, water bottle, bug spray and sunscreen. An electronic Boulder Point waiver is required the day of camp.   • Intro 3D Printing (Gr 3-6) - Live Online

    This 3D printing camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Students will design their own keychains! No 3D printing experience is necessary, but familiarity with common tasks like using a computer and keyboarding is required. One design will be printed offline and mailed home.   • Java Game Coding (Gr 4-8) - Live Online

    Students will be introduced to object-oriented programming and elements of the Java language while learning to code their text-based RPG (Roleplaying Game). No programming experience is necessary, but familiarity with common tasks using a computer operating system (text-editing and understanding directory structures) and good keyboarding skills are required.   • Junior Bluejacket Speed & Strength Baseball (Grades 3-8) NEW

    Baseball speed and strength is a skill based camp for your serious baseball players looking to bring their skills to the next level. Players can expect to learn pitching, fielding and hitting techniques along with advanced baseball strategies. Doug Schmitz along with local baseball coaches and players will be coaching the sessions. These sessions are for students with some baseball experience and for those who hope to try out for a travel team. Sessions are geared for 3rd-5th and 6th-8th grade students. There will be weekly baseball camps with grades 3rd-5th having camps right after school from 2:05/2:15 to3:20/3:30 PM (start time depends on the school the child attends) and 6th-8th grades will have camps before school from 7:00 to 8:15 AM.   • Junior Veterinarian - Level 2 (Grades 3 - 6)

    Did your child take our Junior Veterinarian class (Level 1) and now wants to know even more about veterinary medicine and animals? If so, then this Level 2 Junior Veterinarian class is just what the doctor ordered! Learn even more about what happens behind the scenes at the vet clinic. Parents are encouraged to stay and learn with their child. The $35 fee includes a $15.00 supply fee for items required for the class. Space is limited so sign up early! Prerequisite - Junior Veterinarian - Level 1.
  • Learn and Create your own Custom Cribbage Board ***NEW

    Learn how to design and personalize your own wooden cribbage board using VCarve software and CNC technology! Over 3 sessions (6 hours total), you’ll create a one-of-a-kind project from start to finish. Students will learn basic CNC design skills, watch the cutting process, and finish their boards with sanding and oil. No experience required — just bring your creativity!
  • Little Wilderness Nature Nuts! (ages 3-5) New

    Join us for our monthly events and let your little Nature Nuts connect with the outdoors in a fun, safe, and educational setting. We will play outside (weather permitting), read a story, make a project together, and leave sometime for open play. This program is for children ages 3-5 and must be accompanied by an adult.
