  • Birthday Party - Pool

    The fun and easy way to host an awesome birthday party! You bring the treats and we'll provide the pool. Parties include 2 hours of swim time and 1 hour in room for presents and food. Each party can accommodate up to 40 swimmer. Extra charges will apply for more than 40 swimmers. Include is time for food and presents. Please book using the birthday child's name. Parties must be booked a minimum of 10 business days in advance. Cambridge-Isanti Community Education will contact you within 2 business days of submitting your party request. All parties are subject to staffing and facility availability. Payment is due in full upon booking the party. If a cancellation needs to happen, Community Education must be notified 3 business days prior to the party to receive a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. If less then 3 business days, no refund will be given. However, we will work with you to reschedule your party.

    Join us this summer for some girls basketball! Grades K-3: Focus on the basic skills and rules of the game, with the goal of piquing interest in the sport. A junior size basketball and lower baskets will be used to set you up for success. Grades 4-8: Focus on individual and team development.     Athletes will receive supervised and structured acceleration, circuit and weight room training to increase speed and body strength. Results will be verified with pre and post testing. Activities will be broken up to allow for ultimate muscle breakdown and recovery. This activity is designed for the serious athlete or fitness enthusiast. Workouts will be intense. Enter California “sushi” Rolls that overwhelmingly turn the strong “NO’s” into strong yeses! Join Tess as she walks you through how to make a variety of the most marvelous California rolls that will make you wonder why you haven’t tried to make your own before. California “sushi” roll combinations are only limited by your imagination! Make them vegetarian, with or without seaweed, spicy or not, it is totally up to you! Learn the skill of creating delicious seasoned sushi rice, spicy mayo, and how to stuff, wrap / shape the rolls, with wonderful filling ingredients. One of these fillings is a “crab” salad that will be created using crabsticks. Make it a date night or family night as you create lasting memories in your kitchen! Have your questions answered by the instructor, interact with other participants as you cook along, and increase your confidence in the kitchen with each skill that is learned, and each little bit of advice and instruction that is shared. While cooking-along is loads of fun, and highly recommended, it is optional. Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and preparation. A professionally made PDF packet of the Instructors Personal Recipes from this class will also be received. This class will take place on Zoom; free on-line software. Participants will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting. As an added bonus, the instructor has created a private group and a public group on Facebook for participants of her cooking classes. Everyone will receive an invite to the groups although joining is optional. Come join the fun! Ingredients / supplies in case participants wish to order or shop early for some ingredients: Sushi rice, sushi, nori /seaweed sheets, toasted sesame oil, (Japanese) rice vinegar. Additional ingredients will be listed in the information packet that will be received 5-7 days before the class. Bamboo sushi rolling mat can be helpful, but not necessary. Note: One registration fee for this on-line virtual interactive class can include immediate family members living full-time in the same home ONLY.   • Cambridge Middle School May Play Snow White (NEW)

    Cambridge Middle School students will rehearse and perform a short play (Snow White) while growing and expanding in their theatre skillset. Participants will experience many aspects of performance, including voice, movement, character development, script analysis and teamwork. Friday, May 3rd will be auditions for the parts in the play. The auditions will consist of some games and readings, both individually and in groups, so be willing to explore new and fun characters. Participants do not need to have anything prepared, just be ready to have fun! There will be roles for those who would like non speaking parts too! There will be a performance for the students during the day on Friday, May 31st and then one in the evening too. More details will be handed out the first week of rehearsals.
